RESOURCE GUARDING
The general concept of guarding is simple. Your dog finds something valuable, they’ve had extended and consistent access to it, and now here you are, trying to take it away…
REACTIVE
A lot of dog owners struggle with reactivity-related issues and most have accepted it as a part of their dog’s personality or whatever excuse they’ve made up for why they’re going to walk across the street to avoid the neighbor because their dog barks at the neighbor’s dog, lunges toward skateboarders, cars, or even worse. There are certainly levels to reactivity and I’ve dealt with the most extreme cases. Once you can sort out what your dog’s triggers are, and what the root issue is, solving it becomes much more possible. Inside the member area, there are a few case studies that break down some of my most challenging and relatable cases.
